CANADA Y.C.FOLK MUSIC ORCHESTRA

Founded in 2003, the CANADA Y.C. Folk Music Orchestra is a non-profit making performing group made up mainly of young musicians. With a different setup from other folk music organizations, the group strives to create a unique performing style. The members of the group give a large scale concert before 300 to 500 audiences each year. Regularly, they perform at senior homes and participate in community and charity concerts. The orchestra takes an active role in promoting traditional Chinese music to Canada to lead the way to integrate into the mainstream society. We welcome friends with a musical background to join our orchestra!

 

加拿大英才民族管弦乐团是一个以年轻人为主的非盈利表演艺术团，成立于2003年，乐团编制有异于世界各地的民乐团体，力求创立独具一格的新模式。乐团多年来成功举办多场大型音乐会，经常前往老人院表演，并参加多项社会捐款等慈善活动。我们一直努力不懈，旨在推广华人音乐，融入本地文化。欢迎有音乐基础的朋友参加我们的乐团！
